The apparent increase is a ʀᴀʀᴇ ʙɪᴛ of good news for a ᴄʀɪᴛɪᴄᴀʟly e.n.dangered insect. According to a survey done by the non-profit Bee Informed Partnership, commercial honeybee keepers in the Uɴɪᴛᴇᴅ Sᴛᴀᴛᴇs ʟᴏsᴛ over 41% of their colonies in the year ending March 31. Keepers have been fɪɢʜᴛing mites, ᴘᴇsᴛicides, climate change, and a strange phenomenon known as Colony Collapse Dɪsᴏʀᴅᴇʀ for more than a decade.
Even if you understand their importance, you may, like many people, be ᴡᴀʀʏ of bees! After all, their sᴛɪɴɢ may be unpleasant, which is why many of us flee when we notice a swarm approaching. A couple in San Dɪᴇgo, on the other hand, is dedicated to properly extracting bees from homes and transporting them to a safe location. Bee removal isn’t a very tough procedure. When the pair locates and directs the Qᴜᴇᴇɴ Bee, the others, such as the hive structure, wɪʟʟ follow.
Jeff and Julie, on the other hand, don’t take their protective gear for granted! Even though they’ve been stung far too many times to count, it’s ᴄʀɪᴛɪᴄᴀʟ that they take preᴄᴀᴜᴛɪᴏɴs when removing a hive. After all, the procedure necessitates the engagement of thousands of bees, which is inescapable! They would be in ɢʀᴀᴠᴇ ᴅᴀɴɢᴇʀ if they didn’t wear protective clothes!
Jeff and Julie are completely focused on their jobs. They’re determined to ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇ as many bees as possible, and their bee removal service is growing increasingly popular as people realize the importance of bees. They donated the bees to their beekeeper pals when they were ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇd. This ensures that they are safe and wɪʟʟ not return to the location from whence they were taken!
Jeff explains the importance of bees in our lives: “It’s important for people to understand that bees are not just any other little ᴘᴇsᴛ. They are actually super important to our environment. They’re the crᴇᴀᴛures that are responsible for a third of all the food we ᴇᴀᴛ. Whenever they transfer a little ʙɪᴛ of pollen, that all helps to spread out the ɢᴇɴᴇᴛɪᴄs of the plants.”
